The outskirts are just as picturesque as the inskirts.

Not true, I've shot geese and ducks from the rice fields of Egypt, and shot pigs from a helicopter in Wharton county along the Colorado River. Beautiful place with a lot of history vital to the birth of Texas, but not the most beautiful.

Texas Country singers need to start making more reference to the Panhandle in their songs that celebrate the names of various towns in Texas.

The San Antonio River is only crystal clear from The Blue Hole until about Highway 281 north. Then it hits downtown and turns to what I call San Antonio River Green.

The Medina River on the other hand is clear from its start almost all the way into San Antonio, where I guess the sewage hits it and turns it back to that San Antonio River Green.

Heck, even the Cibolo Creek is crystal clear up until it hits the East Side of Bexar County.
