The San Antonio River is only crystal clear from The Blue Hole until about Highway 281 north. Then it hits downtown and turns to what I call San Antonio River Green.Ragoo said:
The emerald waters of the hill country rivers are the most beautiful sights in Texas. Guadalupe, devils, final, San Marcos, pedernales, San Antonio. Blanco, Frio, etc

The Medina River on the other hand is clear from its start almost all the way into San Antonio, where I guess the sewage hits it and turns it back to that San Antonio River Green.
Heck, even the Cibolo Creek is crystal clear up until it hits the East Side of Bexar County.
