I have a fake tree. It has 4 little pegs you put in the bottom to make it stand up. I lost 3 of the pegs in my recent move. I don't wanna buy another tree. What should I use to fix it? I looked for replacements but don't see them.

my vote is to dangle it upside down from the ceiling. because i think that would be a sweet new trend that would annoy the bejesus out of old folks if it became a thing.

See if a real tree tree stand will work. The metal legs on our previous artificial tree broke a couple of years ago. I wrapped the base of the artificial tree in newspaper and two rolls of duct tape as tight as I could to simulate the base of a real tree and it worked for that year. It leaned a bit though.

I believe it. I has the dumbs when it comes to MacGyver'ing things.

I'd love to fix it without buying a stand. If I need to, I will, but I feel like there has to be a household hack.

What is the base made of? Any holes in it? You could make a cross piece with some 2 4s and attach to base?

It it's small... I stuck my first Charlie Brown tree in a plastic plat pot with that green Styrofoam-y stuff you see in flower arranging. Worked ok!
Other than that.... I would bet if you took a pic with you to Home Depot or Lowes and talked to some dude(s) there, you'd leave with a solution.
