I was going to suggest plaster of paris in a pot like bigger shrubs come in. Fill it about 3/4 full and when it's dry, put some large rocks, bricks or whatever to make it heavier if necessary. Quickcrete might be a better idea, though. Hit up a nursery and nab a plastic container. They usually have some laying around.
