Wait dammit that won't work cause the slits for the pegs are on the actual tree. It's not the kind I slide the pole into yesiknowthatsoundssodirty

Go to Home Depot and just take one off the display trees. They have them all together so it'll just lean on the one next to it

I'm almost certain those in the link will work. The 3 legs should slide out of the center bracket and fit on your tree.

Haha yeah wow I am dumb. I was just thinking of sticking the tree in that stand not just using the legs with mine. It's been a long week. -_-

You might be able to get a big can, like a 1-gallon paint can, put the tree trunk into it, and then fill the bucket with sand. Both the can and sand should be available from Home Depot or Lowes. Stability depends on the size of the tree, but that's what I'd try first.

I have a fix idea, you'll need the following:
1 bag quickcrete (can be partial, you won't need much)
1 baking pan equal to or slightly deeper than your tree base is tall and roughly at least half the diameter of your tree in at least one direction.
1 condom

too many holes and not enough pegs to fill them

I know OP said that a purchase wasn't interesting/pursuable at the moment, but I just thought I'd mention this site. We bought a new tree a couple of years ago and were pleased with the whole deal (delivery, quality, etc.).

Ok serious answer. Get a spatula. A good sturdy one for grilling and such. Take the spatula and carefully insert it into your ass, and see if you can't manage to wedge your head out.

Then take the peg you have to the hardware store and ask the nice man for an alternative.

My ex was a pos, but I do have to give it to him- he could fix things like this in a heartbeat.

I might actually have some spares that you can have

Get some shims. Shim up the two brackets that lost their feet.

Or

Get some fender washers and JB Weld. Or hard rubber discs. Make new feet for each leg. Epoxy the feet to each leg. Use more than one washer if necessary. Legs can't lose their feet from one year to the next.

If it was me, I'd take that one you still got into the garage, get some scrap 1x4, and make me two more.

a 5 gallon bucket would work - fill it with cement. That'll be HEAVY. Then good luck putting the tree away.
