I can look up names but there were no names to look up. I have never been on facebook, Instagram, Twitter or any of the other ones. I don't know what all the # and other nonsense means. Yep, I guess that means I'm an old man.

Mazzoni is a monster javelin thrower with a PB of 185'5, was 5th at conference and 17th at nationals as a freshman this pst season! Fields is a strong discus thrower! Women's throws squad is going to be awesome next year!

Haven't seen this one officially posted anywhere but it's another Auburn thrower.

There has been a LOT of athlete turnover in the offseason for various reasons. We lost a large portion of the top end talent from last season on both sides. We are always going to be a threat to be top 10 though.

We are a little behind the curve this year as Burrell was not hired until the portal closed. That said, they seem to have recovered nicely in spite of that. Also seems that many of the top Auburn throwers are transferring here (which they are allowed to do when the head coach leaves).

It's probably harder to predict what we've got this coming year than most years due to the significant amount of athlete turnover.

Social media posted Shari Hurdman, 400 runner from San Diego State who led off Australia's U20 4x400 with a 52.91 and has a best of 52.94 in her one year at SDSU. Guess she's an Aggie

It is quite unique to have the kind of change at the top that this was and still retain nearly the entire former staff.

Happy for the folks he kept on. Several hard workers in that group.

Pat had a great staff and i'm really happy to see coach Burrell retain the bulk of the staff. Continuity is important with retention of the current team and the incoming high school athletes that were recruited by this staff! Let it play out and if he sees a need to make changes after year one then i'm sure he'll do what's best for our team! So far so good! Gig'em

Usually the elite distance recruits will commit soon, a lot of seniors will take their visits in the fall and make their decisions before the December signing day. Usually the elite prospects who school undoubtedly want. It seems in track a lot of athletes will take 4-5+ visits, and schools want them coming on football home games. It's rare but some athletes will commit before their senior years, but the majority will in the fall of senior year

Women signed 400m specialist Taiwo Kudoro from Arizona State, an incoming Junior who has a PB of 52.32.

And a 400 hurdle time of 58.39, hoping she sticks with that event!
