Was USC expected to run so poorly in the 4x400?

USF had the top time coming in. We were 4-5 time coming in, but we show up in the championships

I don't know what the final decision will be, but if it was A&M being reviewed for a possible disqualification, you know we would be DQ'd.

Another way to look at it is that if USF got a .4 second advantage by the push, then we win outright.

You could say, you should not have said that about JQ. That is an option.

Or you could say JQ having his best 400 ever helped us win the title.

I hope we have a national champ shirt.

So glad to see Pat Henry and the team on top again. It's been a frustrating past few years in nationals.

Your 45 was pretty close. I know we got more in the 400H...guessing less in the 400 and ???

Great projections man, almost went that way. That USC discus thrower moving up on a protest, he was 5th and moved up. What a crazy event

Only on a TexAgs National Championship thread would I expect to see complaining about the effort of the team by someone.

The USF 400 runner stepping on the line won us the national championship. Moved Robinson from 8th to 7th place.

Or saying he won't forgive one of our runners for costing us a title. When he's a big reason we won the co-championship.

I was at the national championships in Austin in 2019. Just before the trophy presentation I congratulated Coach Henry on the women's team scoring enough points in the last hour of the meet to win the 4th place trophy and he said "We don't have it yet!"

Just really remarkable we won a national championship with our most acclaimed athlete having a bad day (46 400 and walked down in relay) and a prelim false start from an almost sure heavy point scorer in 110 hurdles. Just keep plugging away and good things happen!

We actually lost a point on USC with that DQ. Their guy went from 3rd to 2nd, so we would have won if they hadn't called it.

We should have had Kimar slow down so Auhmad had someone to chase. He runs better angry.

Do you have any idea that you said JQ cost A&M a title.

Yet, we end up winning the title.

And you still show zero understanding.

Agree. We could have won it outright easily if any number of things had happened. By any number of people.

We also could have lost it if any number of things hadn't happened. By any number of people.

To blame our finishing in a co-championship on one person is lunacy.

How about we all just quit knocking each other and enjoy the title.

It's the last event in this season for our men, and we won! Let's congratulate our athletes and their coaches and celebrate with each other.

Just for a little while, let's all smile.
