And what was the point of scheduling UTSA as a double header after a team of Kentucky's level? Wasn't this a recently added match as well? Why risk an embarrassing loss with little or nothing to achieve even with a win. Want to talk about dragging your team's confidence down right after the first encouraging result of the season.

Well there is importance. To qualify for NCAAs, you have to be above .500 unless you win your conference tournament. Given the lack of wins and how tough the SEC is, they need "easy" wins. It's going to be an uphill battle just to qualify for NCAAs this year.
UTSA after Kentucky with the same players playing (basically) probably wasn't the best idea.

It can be a lot worse than UTSA,
It's a lot easier to lose in team sports. Tennis isn't a true team sport. The singles is basically six individual events happening next to each other.
Assuming we are better than they are on every court, which certainly we should be vs UTSA, there needs to be 4 upsets out of 7 points in order for them to win.
It would be like playing Appalachian or Wofford seven times and losing four of them. Which would probably never happen.

After beating South Florida 7-0 this afternoon, the Ags are attempting to get another 7-0 win this evening.
We lead UTA 1-0 after the doubles point and took all 6 of the first sets in singles.

UTSA definitely surprised. We held Noah Schachter and Guido Marson out in singles. If we played them again, that would likely not be the case.JPN06 said:

Sadly neither Noah or Guido were good to go after hard fought matches with Kentucky. Our match with Alabama moved to Thursday at 4.

Yes Friday forecast is for lots of rain. Without indoor courts you have to be creative .
Do they not have access to any indoor courts in Bryan anymore?
They do, but that is a last resort. Might eveen go to Waco, before the Bryan courts.

Great gutty win by Perot on line 2. Had some cramps(as he told me more than a little bit)but battled through it for the win and the match.
Some really exciting stuff on 1 and 2 at the end there.
A grueling match currently going on with #19 Florida. We are at 3:53 minutes in. The teams are currently tied 3-3.
Giulio Perego at 3 is the last match standing and it has been that we for a while. We currently trail:

I think I have my math correct here. Match started at 1, singles started at about 1:45. Giulio finished it off at 5:30. So, his singles match lasted 3:45.
