Because only Asian countries seem to want to host the Olympics. 3 straight in one part of the world is really dumb. Damn near impossible for most to watch it live.

Seeing rumors elsewhere that it isn't related to doping but a banned substance...diuretic? cold medicine?

If it were straight up doping, i think the decisions would have already come out.
