I like to think that up north its similar to a bowling alley. Like they just have curling places up there full of 40-50 year olds who really are just trying to get out of the house to drink beer and hide from their wives. They all have the matching button up jerseys and everything

Find myself inexplicably watching the curling. Not sure why.

Have always been a winter Olympics fan. Dislike them being in a place where all the snow is man made. Prefer to see the winter wonderland environment.

Also not thrilled with the NBC coverage. Understand the move toward paid watching on their app, but I refuse out of principle. Olympics to me has always been a situation of flipping around different channels and landing on something that catches my attention even though I really don't understand the specifics of the sport. Not real happy that they basically have one and a half channels going.

Are they actually charging to use the app? I downloaded and used it for the summer games last year but didn't pay anything.

Honestly don't know for sure. Think my son said it was 5 bucks. I haven't even tried. I get tired head having to switch inputs and open the app and sign in. Not interested enough to work that hard, not like it's Aggie Football.

I understand all the skiing events except the Super G. What's the degree of differentiation?

Super G is the bastage mix of slalom and downhill.

BINGO! Lol and the location is very very strange! It seems like a video game. As for Eileen it's weird she's make the switch, but she made it 3 years ago. She could've easily been the superstar of the USA Winter sports, but probably didn't want to be in Mikaela Shiffrin's shadow is my opinion but I honestly have zero clue.
