I was content enough with bronze and therefore avoided looking up these stats as I knew they would piss me off. And they do. If I wrote letters, USTAF would be getting a nasty one from this Deadmon fan!

Mixed 4x4 is stupid, trying to fit it into the schedule makes it impossible or really difficult for them to let some athletes double in their respective events.

Let's correct this. Team U.S.A. did NOT lose. They won the Bronze.

Of course, we would have all loved to have seen Bryce run again today, but that was not the plan.

To say we lost diminishes the amazing accomplishment of winning any Olympic medal and only places value on the gold. This relay is a team sport and this is what the team accomplished.

I''m not going to minimize that Bronze medal for our Aggie and none of you should either. Gold would have been nice, but Bronze is pretty darned good.

Gittens competes in about 30 minutes, meet can be streamed on nbcsports.com for free with a cable provider! She would need to place top 12 of all the jumpers or jump a 22'1.50 to automatically advance to the finals in 3 attempts!
