That's one hell of a man!

Last one I saw was Dalilah Muhammad's 400 hurdle record in Des Moines in 2019. Also saw Flo-Jo's 100 record at the 88 Trials.

We have had season tickets for a number of years and always bought the Champs tickets as well. I can't recall if it was certified, but at the '18 Indoors the A&M Men's 4X400 ran an indoor WR but placed second to USC. USC's team did not have all athletes from one country so their time was classified as a World Best. That was an amazing race to watch-a wonder that the walls were still standing everyone was yelling the entire race.

I have . Matson's set in Kyle field. I saw 5 Olympic records live in Atlanta

It was never ratified because the drug testing produces for world records was not done. Which stinks for our guys, but ratification or not; our guys still ran the fasted indoor 4x4 ever by a group of the same nationality. So it's a world record in my books.

But what makes it cool is athletes who finish top 3 at the trials who don't have the standard then go "standard chasing" in the weeks after.

I saw him set the Olympic record in the 400 but didn't see him set the WR in the 200.
Saw Carl Lewis win the gold the same night.

Have been to 39 NCAA Championships and numerous notational championships and Olympic trials so I've seen my share, but ALWAYS EXCITING!

We have a very very very interesting heat here! 4 guys with the Olympic standard. Top 3 from the 2 heats automatically advance along with the next 2 fastest times. Brazier will likely let someone take the first lap then make a move! After last race I expect Miller to stay on someone's outside shoulder possibly Brazier's and make a move around 150-200 left instead of 80 left like yesterday. Miller, Murphy, Kidder, and Sowinski will be fighting for the next two spots!

Deadmon has a rough lane draw, but I believe he can get top 3! It will be rough to run blind but on a large curved track Deadmon should be in good position come the home stretch! Michael Cherry and Noah Williams will be fighting Deadmon for a top 3 automatic qualifier! If Deadmon runs his race I think he should be okay!

Jessica Beard has a tougher heat with Allyson Felix and Kendall Ellis leading the group. Phyllis Francis and Natasha Hastings haven't ran well this year but it's hard to disregard them! Beard will have a nice pacer in Talitha Diggs to her outside let's just hope Beard can put together a solid race to automatically qualify to the finals!

Last but not least we have Phase 42 turned Phase 9 Fred Kerley running the 100 prelims today! He does have Noah Lyles and Ronnie Baker in his heat, but Lyles has not looked strong this season. I expect Kerley to make a statement and win this heat with a strong run!

Aggies Ameer Webb will also be running the 100 and Sam Hardin will be contesting the javelin!

that first semi for the men's 800 is loaded; will be interesting to see if Donovan Brazier will go as hard as he did in the first round. I feel confident Brandon Miller will respond well to a fast pace.

Bold prediction, but only because of Baker not Lyles. People sleep on Baker but if healthy he's a threat.

It's difficult, the smart money would be on Baker, but my gut is telling me Fred wants to shut every one up and show the track world he's can run the 100/200, he'll run with emotion!

Very loaded! I can see Miller leading the first lap and Brazier making an early move around 250/300 and Miller will hang on! Murphy has crazy strength but a faster race will favor Miller!

Would love to see it, because he never did it in the 400. Did he ever even get back to his sub 44 time he ran at NCAA's?

I think he can do it but I'm just protecting my own feelings lol

In 2019 he went 43.6 to win the US Championships and got second at worlds with 44.1!! Maybe he hasn't been feeling good about the 400 training this year! I really wanna see him put a 200 together, he has so much potential in that event but never got it done!

Aggie Jacob Wooten is looking strong in the pole vault while Audie Wyatt has been eliminated along with 3 other athletes with the Olympic Standard

I was gonna post about how the hardest team to make is the 100m hurdles for the ladies but wow this men's 100m is STACKED

Bednarik also had a horrible start. He and Fred both looked strong near the end of their races, that 400 strength shining.

Racking my brain how I'd build a US 4x100 team right now. I think I'd go

Bromell
Gatlin
Lyles

I think...man some tough choices. Struggling with that 3rd leg choice because we really don't have any good curve runners.

Yeah maybe Lyles on 3rd leg since he's more notably the 200 guy! I would love to see Kerley get a leg but USATF will give it to Gatlin! I'm really excited to see Kerley with a good start! Bromell and Gatlin had the better wind as well! Kerley looked sharp!
