exactly what Triniaggie said! I think covid played a factor this season as not many athletes got to run last year and exploded this spring which led to their signings!

That's awesome for Teajha Badal!!! That's a great 200 time! Glad she's even progressing through the summer! Kennedy Wade is also competing in the 400!

Autumn Wilson and Hali Murphy are teammates at St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School in Austin and both TAPPS state champions who have shown heavy heavy interest in the Aggies! Willis and Whittaker are 800 specialists who have Athing Mu like range! Both competed at the trials following their junior seasons! Both are followed by and follow Coach Milton Mallard our 800 coach on social media! After Athing Mu's success it's easy to be greedy and want these top 800 girls but I'm sure we'll be in the running for both... I mean who would turn down getting to train Mu

Texas A&M Track and Field is also hosting their summer camps right now! Expect some more offers to be going out soon!

Landing one of those 4 girls would be absolutely amazing but we have a real shot at 2-3! Those times they ran today are absolutely amazing! All would come in as a freshman a year from now contending at nationals!

Makes sense! I have a senior to be that wants to run in college so we are learning as we go.

That's amazing! Best of luck to you all! Some advice besides working hard is to reach out to coaches now! Each school has a recruit questionnaire on their website that you can fill out and send academic and athletic info! It shows the athlete cares and really wants to be there! You can also make an NCSA recruiting profile on their website as well so coaches can see!!

That or finding their email from the athletic website and letting them know you are interested, Your PRs, places at state or region meets, GPA, class rank and test scores

I appreciate all the info and suggestions. He has been reaching out to coaches with his times but I think he is really hoping a "big" (SEC, B12 etc.) will reach out. His times are coming along (47.48 in the 400 yesterday) so part of the challenge is keeping a 17 yr old patient and letting the process play out. I don't want to highjack the thread from its intended purpose or being one of those parents but I do want to thank everyone for the information.

That's an awesome time and will definitely get schools after him! Bryce Deadmon ran a 47.6 as his best in high school and right now he's looking for travel sized items to take with him to Tokyo
