My hat's off to Ivor Robson, the R& A starter. A one tee start, 11 minute intervals, no starter's times. Tee times begin at 6:32 a.m. local time and don't end until 4:13 p.m. local time. He takes no breaks. Requires a cast iron bladder.Then he gets up and does it again on Friday.

Hope some good Ag buys him a wee dram at the Dunvegan on Friday night, he will have earned it.

Two of these three may make he cut.

I would have picked them to fail also. Props to Duval, his corpse hasn't twitched in a long time. Would be cool to see weirdness tomorrow and he shoots 6 under or some such.

I'd say Rickie, Leishman, and any of the other rounds in the 60s is showing why it's moving day.

It's moving day because typically the first two days are simply making your way around the course without losing the tournament. Posting solid numbers and putting yourself into a nice position for the weekend. Third round is when you've got to make a big move because it ain't happening on the final round.

And yes Jordan is moving now. Earlier on his front nine he was very mediocre and kind of sputtering. Took him a while to get going.

Jordan didn't start ripping off birdies until the back nine. He had 2 birdies and 1 bogey going out. I'm just not seeing where he was moving up the leaderboard prior to the last 30 mins.

Apparently we are watching a different tournament than you. He started at -5 (down 5), got to -8 (down 2) on the front before a temporary slip to -7 before the last birdie run.

No, we aren't watching the same tourney. The tourney I'm watching had Spieth birdie 1,5 and 7.
