He's such a good long putter it's ridiculous.
TONS of break on the #18 green. DJ just had a 10-footer with about five feet of break in it.

Are his practice rounds this bad?
Tiger couldn't even hang on the Web.com tour the way he is currently playing.
And with the ridiculously easy conditions today and the fact that Tiger's last round at Greenbrier was his best round of proximity to the hole since they started keeping the stat in 2003, I thought he would be able to, you know, hit a simple wedge shot inside 20 feet at some point. This course is nothing but wedge approaches right now and I don't know if he hit a single one the right distance.

Supposedly they are pretty good. As are his range sessions, supposedly.
True, he did play well last time out, but he isn't even close mentally - see Chambers Bay and the Memorial.

Ehh...Hard to rule him out completely simply based on his pedigree and past achievements. If any run of the mill tour pro was shooting what he has been we'd never expect anything from him.

I've never been a Tiger fan, but it seems like now that he sucks, he's become a decent person on the course. While walking to the scorer's "tent" he stopped to give a little kid a ball and seemed very friendly.
In the old days, he was always very surly to anyone in his path.
Now that he's a known dirtbag, he seems to be making an effort to be likable.

Are you sure it wasn't repeatedly cheating on his wife, alienating those who cared about him, or his body falling apart from those PEDs he never used that caused him to "soften up"?
I would much rather see Tiger fail miserably than be mediocre to decent. I was entertained by the greatness and am now entertained by the massive fail, and I hope things continue to be one extreme or the other.
