One of the many crazy sounding George Degianni (fitness guy) drops.
Was a bit underwhelmed by the first episode, but thought this one set things up nicely.
And as Sepinwall mentioned in his review that I agree with - things seem a bit complicated and muddled, but when you actually like the "villains" you don't really care. Limehouse, Quarles, Duffy... even the Tonin's.
Where last season struggled is that Daryl Crowe simply wasn't an interesting character.

Yeah the crowe story line last year was pretty lackluster
Early prediction: Tim does something bad ass or heroic, only to be immediately killed by choo choo.
I've been getting the same feeling. He's been a bit reckless this season.

When we first see Choo Choo driving the car, two things IMMEDIATELY came into my mind:
1) This encapsulates Elmore Leonard's writing perfectly. If he were alive to see that scene, he'd have a huge smile on his face.
2) I so wanted to hear Nelson laugh, then have Choo Choo get out and say "Everyone needs to drive an automobile...even the very tall. This is the largest auto I could afford."
I am going to miss this show more than possibly any other show I've ever watched.

Agreed. As much as Tim has been featured already I have a bad feeling that he meets it in episode 9 or 10.
I liked that Raylan and Eva decided to meet in a more secluded spot to talk as opposed to on the bridge. I also really liked the back and forth they had and Eva's line at the end.
So far the first two episodes have done a good job of setting everything up and I'm just waiting for that first big shootout and see how things land.

You really need to rent "We Were Soldiers", "Road House", "The Big Lebowski", "Tombstone", etc... to get a better appreciation of "that old guy with the white hair".

Think so.
It's been great so far, and last night's episode was great.
Was surprised to see Peter Weller's name as the director and looked him up on imdb to find that he has been a prolific television director lately. He's got 11 episodes of Sons of Anarchy under his belt among others.
Very solid episode tonight.
