We worried we picked up a pregnant dog a year ago. 3 gigantic poops later…she was fine. Just severely bloated and bad diet from at least 3 days on the street.

but seriously. here's the events:
(very sad because lost dog obviously, been kinda window shopping..mostly sheepadoodles or stuff I wont actually spend money on)
neighborhood kids come running into my office and very politely tell me that someone threw the dog out of their car
I follow them to where the dog is. dog wont eat cheese or peanut butter and is apprehensive. bites teen bowly.
my husband was on his way because he needed to bring me things. (this rarely happens)
dog immediately takes to him, but then growls when he goes to pick her up.
I sit down on the other side, he keeps trying, she slinks over to me and crawls in my arms
Husband takes her home. She crawls in his lap on the drive.
he has already said that obviously we aren't planing on just "fostering" her.
I start worrying about the fact that she might be pregnant plus we are headed to fort worth on saturday....now.

One week in and Jewels has made herself at home.
Puppy and one of the cats were playing earlier. They truly were just playing but the cat gave him a scratch on the eye. He had to go get checked out and has some meds for it now.

Upset puppies cause mom was packing and the fun one hasn't been seen in a week (and won't be for 5 more days).
Our construction pup is enjoying the finished house. Room to stretch. She's lived in a camper with our family of 5 as a new puppy for 2 months, squatted with us in our basement for 5 months during construction this winter, and lots of muddy days as I'm getting the yard seeded on the acreage. Now boxes lining the walls as we're getting all our belongings out of storage.
Got all my pups back with me. Awkward sleeping positions are back!
