Chester has several duties as passenger
Chester's main role is DJ. He loves to play Taylor Swift and UGK.
He also fills in as Chief Snack Inspector when I pick up food on the road.
Lastly, he works security when I go into stores. He appears to spend most of that time sitting on my center console "Wishing a mother****er would" as he puts it
Jake is good for at least one freak out per walk.
Followed by me untangling him from his leash.

Old boy dog sleeps a lot these days.
His breathing is slow while he sleeps. Almost apnea-like.
His breathing picks up a bit when he starts dreaming.
We are on borrowed time. But we give him lots of pets and scritches and tell him he is the best puppy.

I just had to put my 12 year old Boxer down today.
1) This was her around Christmas with our baby, 2) then right after we discovered she had a large tumor in her lungs in January, 3) her rolling around in the grass a couple of weeks ago on one of her good days enjoying the sun, 4) and then today where I buried at our lake house and my golden sitting next to the gravesite.

T&P for your surviving pup. I hope he/she isn't too sad alone. Also cancer and tumors sucks. Lost 2 of my older labs to it. Rip Bear Grylls & Elsa Mae.
