We recently celebrated her 1st AND 4th gotcha day, as we adopted her on 2/29/20… appropriate that "Springer" was adopted on Leap Day. She is an amazing example of God's provision, being brought into our home right before the world shut down because of Covid.
When we adopted Springer from the shelter, we only knew that she had been a medical rehabilitation. It wasn't until months after that we found that top pic of her on one of the adoption group Facebook pages.
We have no idea what she went through before she was ours, but we unapologetically spoil the s**t out of her and she deserves every bit of it.

Well, this happened sooner than expected. Found a 2.5yo female Setter who's owner could no longer care for her due to a health situation. She's gonna have to get used to a much bigger "kennel"
She's beautiful! Whats her name?
Jewel. I put the word out to my trainer yesterday to keep an eye out and it was like it was supposed to happen as she works with Southwest English Setter rescue and this one hadn't even hit the website.

24hrs later and I'd say she's made herself at home. She's the most chill Setter I've ever been around and has completely attached herself to the wife.

Its definitely a female and I've been asking the same thing since we picked her up.
She's clean and seems well fed.. so that seems like a possible reason someone would have dumped her.
If she is.. chansey seems like a good name. but what the hell am I going to do with a pregnant dog?!?!?
