The Aggies began the 2021 season by falling 10-6 and 2-0 in a doubleheader with the Xavier Musketeers on Saturday at Olsen Field. It is the first time Texas A&M baseball a season 0-2 since 1996.

In game two of a Saturday doubleheader, Xavier shutout Texas A&M, 2-0, as the Aggies mustered only three hits. After the game, Gabe Bock shared his thoughts on an abysmal performance from the Maroon & White at the plate.
