Texas A&M third baseman Gavin Grahovac to miss remainder of 2025
Texas A&M third baseman Gavin Grahovac will miss the remainder of the 2025 season due to injury. It was reported by TexAgs’ Ryan Brauninger that Grahovac will have surgery on his left shoulder to correct an injury Michael Earley described last week as “shoulder tightness.”
Grahovac’s recovery is expected to take at least six months. This surgery is unrelated to the one he had during the offseason to correct a wrist injury.
Through six games in 2025, Grahovac hit .227 (5-for-22) with one double, two home runs and six RBIs.
Last year’s SEC Freshman of the Year, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound standout from Orange, Calif., entered his sophomore season as a preseason first-team All-SEC selection and had a spot on the 2025 Golden Spikes Award Preseason Watch List.
A season ago, Grahovac slashed .298/.390/.596 with a Texas A&M freshman record of 23 home runs and 66 RBIs. He earned Freshman All-SEC honors and numerous Freshman All-American accolades.
News of his injury serves as a big blow to No. 1 A&M.
More to come shortly.
