Ar'maj Reed-Adams announces his return to Texas A&M for 2025

On Friday afternoon, offensive lineman Ar’maj Reed-Adams announced he will return to Texas A&M for the 2025 campaign.

The 6-foot-5, 330-pound junior started all 12 games for the Aggies at right guard while helping pave the way for an A&M rushing attack that ranked second in the Southeastern Conference.

Averaging 199.2 rushing yards per game, A&M’s running game ranked 22nd nationally and eclipsed 225 rushing yards on five occasions. Additionally, the offensive front allowed just 49 tackles for loss, which was second-best in the SEC and 16th nationally.

Individually, Reed-Adams allowed just seven hurries and eight pressures on 744 total snaps this fall, with 741 coming at right guard, according to PFF. He was penalized 11 times and allowed just one sack in 2024.

Sticking with PFF grades, Reed-Adams received an offensive grade of 76.0 (21st nationally among guards), a 79.9 pass-blocking grade and an 81.0 run-blocking grade (seventh).

One of Mike Elko’s and Adam Cushing’s best interior linemen, 2024 was Reed-Adams’ first season in College Station after beginning his career at Kansas.

A three-star tackle prospect from DeSoto, he signed with the Jayhawks in the class of 2020 and played in 31 games, making 15 starts, across four seasons in Lawrence. Reed-Adams announced his intentions to transfer to A&M on Jan. 7, 2024.

Known for smashing a folding chair before each game, Reed-Adams and his fellow Maroon Goons aim to do much more smashing in 2025 when the Aggies look to build on an 8-4 record.
