Lone Star Lookback: Jorvorskie Lane recounts contributions against Texas
Welcome to Lone Star Lookback! Each week, a former player or coach will join David Nuño to reminisce on Texas A&M's historic rivalry with the Texas Longhorns as the game makes an emphatic return on Nov. 30 at Kyle Field.
On Episode 11 of the Lone Star Lookback series, former Texas A&M fullback Jorvorskie Lane sat down to look back on his four years in Aggieland, which included back-to-back thrilling victories over the Longhorns. In his first rivalry game, Lane made an immediate contribution, throwing a passing touchdown. Texas A&M pulled off a dramatic upset in 2006 as his bruising running style helped A&M dominate the time of possession, keeping Texas' offense off the field. The Aggies secured its second consecutive win over the Longhorns with a 38-30 victory in College Station, yet fell in Austin the following year.
