2024 Clear Springs offensive lineman Blake Ivy commits to Texas A&M
The Aggies have gone into Galveston County today and nabbed a commitment from Clear Springs OL Blake Ivy.
One of the top offensive line prospects in greater Houston as well as the state of Texas, the 6-foot-4, 280-pounder chose Texas A&M over Texas and LSU.
In watching him on tape and in person, Ivy’s physicality immediately stands out. He’s a sound technician with strong, powerful hands that he uses to neutralize defenders. He’s also extremely explosive off the ball and moves around like someone much smaller than 280 pounds. He climbs to the second level as well as any offensive lineman in the state in this class.
Here’s some tape from his junior season.
Overall, Ivy becomes the 20th commitment of the Aggies’ 2024 recruiting haul, and he joins Ashton Funk, Coen Echols, Weston Davis and Isendre Ahfua as future Maroon Goons.
