Kenyon Green named SEC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week

Wash, rinse, repeat.

For the second time in as many weeks, Texas A&M's Kenyon Green received SEC honors, today named the conference’s Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week. Starting at left guard for the Aggies, the All-American was pivotal in assisting the offense amass 290 yards on the ground.

Green was named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week after last week's win over Mizzou as well as A&M's Week One win over Kent State.

The Aggies' ground attack has turned lethal. Both Isaiah Spiller (102) and Devon Achane (154) surpassed the 100-yard mark for the second consecutive week. A&M's pass protection has continued to impress as well, as once again Zach Calzada was not dropped for a sack vs. the Gamecocks.

Josh Henson's unit of Jahmir Johnson, Green, Bryce Foster, Layden Robinson and Reuben Fatheree has transformed into one of the best in the nation's premier line of scrimmage league. For the Aggies to add to their current three-game winning streak, the Maroon Goons will likely have to continue their recent strong form of play.

Winning SEC honors is nothing new to "Big Ken" as he was an All-SEC second-team selection a season ago. With three Offensive Lineman of the Week awards through eight games, it would appear that Green is destined to turn that into a first-team nod at the end of this year.
