2021 Ft Bend Christian OL Remington Strickland commits to Texas A&M
The Maroon Goons got even better today as Ft Bend Christian offensive lineman Remington Strickland gave his verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
The 6-4, 290-pounder has seen his offer list explode this fall as his dominant senior tape began to make the rounds in college recruiting rooms across the country. Ultimately, Strickland chooses the Aggies over Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Arkansas, Virginia Tech and Baylor.
By the way, that aforementioned tape that caught the eye of Josh Henson and many offensive line coaches like him is a lot of fun to watch.
Strickland plays violent. He’s a good combination of power and agility. He shows quick feet and a sturdy base. While it’s likely he plays in college as a center or guard, he also has the mobility and technique to function on the edge as a tackle. In addition, he’s also a weight room warrior and won’t have any issues adapting to a college strength and conditioning program. You can view his highlights here.
Strickland’s commitment moves A&M’s total to 18 in the 2021 class, and he becomes the Aggies’ fourth offensive line commit, joining Trey Zuhn, Matthew Wykoff and Reuben Fatheree.
