Visit updates for two key OL targets
I talked directly with Katy Taylor OL Bryce Foster for a bit today. After originally thinking that he was going to take his A&M official visit this spring (most likely the spring game), Bryce says he's now changed his plans a little. He'll instead now wait to take his OV to Aggieland in the fall for a game. He hasn't decided which one he'll attend just yet and won't until he sees his final HS schedule for the fall. Because there are so many schools in Katy ISD, it's hard to know which day of the week Katy Taylor will play on until the final schedule is released. Secondly, I spoke to a source very close to Richmond Foster OL Reuben Fatheree today. I was told that Reuben has not set up an official to A&M yet either. He will, however, be making multiple trips up to watch practice this spring. The Aggies will get an OV, but the date is still being worked out.

Who I feel best about
Fort Washington (MD) National Christian Academy DE Monkell Goodwine including the Aggies in his top 5 got me thinking about the 2021 prospects I currently feel best about Texas A&M's chances. I limited it to 5 I feel are very high on right now, so just because you don't see a guy on the list don't assume it means they are not high on the Aggies. I also put these guys in alphabetical order for those wonderingTop 5 OOS Guys DE Monkell Goodwine, Fort Washington (MD) National Christian Academy - just put A&M in his top 5, has a former teammate and friend on campus in Josh Moten, and he was blown away by his visit in the fall.CB Tony Grimes, Virginia Beach (VA) Princess Anne - A&M has been high on his list throughout the process and he has been on campus several times over the last few years. He plans to OV in the fall.DE Elijah Jeudy, Philadelphia (PA) Northeast - visited last spring and again last fall and he put the Aggies in his early top 6. He wants to return again so his mom can see the program.LB Terrence Lewis, Hollywood (FL) Chaminade-Madonna - A&M has been very high on his list along with Florida and Nebraska. He visited last summer with friend and 2020 A&M signee Donell Harris. Coach Ish has also established a strong bond.OL Connor Tollison, Jackson (MO) - The Aggies jumped up on his list as soon as he received the offer. He will take an unofficial visit for the spring game and he is talking about scheduling an OV. He has a close bond with coach Henson.Top 5 In-state GuysDT Marcus Burris, Texarkana Pleasant Grove - The Aggies have been high on his list throughout and he has visited Aggieland a few times over the last few years. TP and coach Robinson have done a good job of putting the Aggies high on his list.OL Reuben Fatheree, Richmond Foster - he's been on campus quite a few times over the years and coach Henson has built a strong bond. CB Deuce Harmon, Denton Guyer - Coach Rushing has made him a priority, he has been to Texas A&M quite a few times, and his long time friend and teammate Eli Stowers is committed. He put A&M at the top of his list after the Super Bowl visit.WR Ketron Jackson, Royse City - After his Super Bowl visit, the Aggies have been high on his list. Coach Craig is hot on his trail and Jackson plans to return for another visit this spring.DE Landon Jackson, Texarkana Pleasant Grove - An A&M legacy, the Aggies have been on him since his freshman year. He has visited several times and he has his OV scheduled for the spring game weekend.

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

TexAgs Rating

The TexAgs Recruiting team of Billy Liucci, David Sandhop, Jason Howell, Ryan Brauninger and a host of recruiting interns attends more than 75 games each fall and observes and evaluates every major Texas A&M target, as well as most of the top 150 prospects in the State of Texas. From this evaluation the team draws a rating for each prospect on a scale between 70 and 100.

99-100: Elite national prospect (Five-star)

90-98: Elite state prospect (Four-star)

Considered one of the best 30-40 prospects in the state and a top 250 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to be a major early contributor at the collegiate level with high professional potential.

80-89: Quality prospect (Three-star)

Considered one of the best 100 prospects in the state and a top 500 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to develop into a contributor over the course of his college career. Has the ability to become a professional prospect over time with development.

70-79: Solid prospect (Two-star)

Considered one of the top 250 prospects in the state. Has the physical skills to be a potential contributor at a D-1 program over the course of his collegiate career with significant development. Professional potential is low.

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2
