Texas A&M lands pledge from Camden (NJ) DE Fadil Diggs
Camden (NJ) defensive end Fadil Diggs verbally committed to Texas A&M on Saturday. A 6-5, 230 pound pass rushing specialist, Diggs is the first defensive line commit in the 2020 class and joins Cibolo Steele CB Jaylon Jones as the two pledges on the defensive side of the ball.
Diggs was offered by the Aggies in May of 2018, and he made his first trip to the Lone Star State when A&M hosted LSU last November. The memories and experiences he had in Aggieland that day left an indellible mark on him throughout his recruiting process. From there, defensive coaches Elijah Robinson, Terry Price and Mike Elko have taken the reins and were able to win a battle for Diggs over the likes of Florida, Ohio State, Penn State and Georgia, among many others.
Diggs is widely considered one of the top defensive prospects on the entire east coast. You can view his junior season higlights below.
