Von Miller to star in new Facebook variety show 'Von Miller's Studio 58'

I distinctly remember the feeling I had midway through the fourth quarter of Super Bowl 50 when I realized that Aggie legend Von Miller could actually win the MVP.

It felt something like this:

I remember telling my wife something to the effect of "STOP THE PARTY, HIDE THE CHILDREN, FOR A GRAPHIC MUST BE MADE AND A STORY SHALST BE TOLD."

I realized it was a big deal at the time, but even then I couldn't have imagined just how far it would propel #58 into the national spotlight.

Just one month after making his post-MVP media rounds on Ellen, The Today Show, The Late Late Show, Saturday Night Live and even the Grammys, Miller was announced as the latest NFL player to appear on Dancing with the Stars.

He was then named the new face of the adidas "Freak" football cleat franchise, became the highest paid defensive player in NFL history, was named the new face of Madden 17, then Old Spice, and then DiGiorno. Ok that last one might have been a slight step back. So to make up for it, he just went out and won this year's Pro Bowl MVP.

All that to say: Von Miller is now a household name.

Which is probably what Facebook is banking on, because they just gave him his very own show: a live comedy/variety show that will stream on Facebook Watch.

According to Variety, Facebook has ordered eight episodes of "Von Miller's Studio 58," which will be "a mix of comedy bits, celebrity guests and conversations between Miller and his brothers — Vins, Tony, and Cyrus — and some of his NFL teammates as well as interaction with fans via Facebook."

Yes, you read the right: Von won't be the only Aggie featured, as both Tony Jerod-Eddie and Cyrus Gray will be heavily featured. The show debuts Wednesday at 7pm (CT) and will air live from his home in Denver on the show's Facebook Page.
