Notes from Olin's thoughts on Williams

• Trayveon is a powder keg waiting to explode. What an impressive freshman season he had. And it wasn’t all about the yards, he did it on few carries as well. He also didn’t pad his stats against teams like UTSA and New Mexico State. He had the long runs it seemed like almost every game in his freshman season.
  
  
• He is a smaller guy, but he doesn’t run small. The next step is showing that he can run between the tackles and consistently be a physical back. Look at the Alabama game in 2016, that game called for something a little bit more physical and they went with Keith Ford. He will be a guy that all you’ll have to do is give him a crease, and he has the ability to take it to the house from anywhere on the field.
  
  
• Without Trevor Knight it could be a double-edged sword. Trayveon should get more touches, but will the defense be keying on him more without Trevor’s running threat? I also say look at the offensive line, guard-to-guard, they should return all thee guys this year. With them having more experience on the offensive line, I think Trayveon is in line to have a great season.
  
  
• I think he needs to get better in the aspect of running with more power and running between the tackles. That’s really getting deep into the evaluation because he does a lot of things well. I think A&M as a team needs to be better running between the tackles in short yardage, that’s not all on Trayveon. Here is a guy who apparently does a lot of film study and working out with a ton of natural ability, but he’s not satisfied. He want’s to take that natural ability and take it to the next level.
