A&M QB Conner McQueen writes goodbye letter to Aggieland
Since walking onto the football team in 2012 out of Klein Oak High School, A&M QB/Holder/Ginger Conner McQueen had a way of connecting to the Aggie fan base like few have over the years.
He was one of the most valued members of the quarterback room, earned a scholarship in 2014, became a Holder of the Year candidate in 2016 (inspiring the first-ever holder highlight reel), provided countless GIFs at practice and even walked all the way from Bright to our office in a successful effort to claim one of theugliest greatest hats in existence.

"For me, it was never about playing time or recognition. I just wanted to win and see my teammates succeed. My parents taught me that if you are truly passionate about something, your individual role should not matter as long as you are contributing to the whole. Whether I was the scout team wide receiver, scout team quarterback, placekick holder or second/third/fourth/fifth-string quarterback on game day, I was driven by the desire to win football games."
