This was the biggest win of the season and honestly the one that was necessary because with the unbalanced schedules the strong teams are really only playing the strong teams once this season with a couple of exceptions. The right side was the reason we won this match IMO. Ashlie Reasor probably had one of her best matches of her career in terms of importance of the match. If she develops a line shot to add to her improvement this season she would easily be by improved player of the year. Victoria Arenas played her best match digging on the right side since coming to TAMU and Aiple was her usual AA setting self. McGee struggled for a bit and didnt get into her stride til the late third and fourth set. We had some solid digs from all over the court leading to in systems swings on digs that normally would be kills or out of system swings. Hans has a solid match making only a couple of hitting errors on the outside during the time McGee was struggling. Serve recieve was a bit off target as Missouri was able to serve short and also hard and deep putting us a bit off balance leading to higher passes and off the net. Solid effort and good win, shutting down their outside Kan. Win should put us in the mix with pivotable match with Kentucky in a couole of weeks and Alabama next week here at Reed to avenge the five set loss to open SEC play.

Texas A&M Volleyball battles back, hands Missouri its first SEC loss
The Texas A&M Volleyball is not shy when it comes to playing on the big stage. Tonight, they proved that they can handle the spotlight, regardless of the opponent.
After defeating Georgia in Athens last Friday, the Aggies welcomed nearly perfect Missouri to town. The Tigers came in with an overall record of 18-3 and a flawless conference record of 9-0. After a hard fought match, the Aggies handed the Tigers their first SEC loss of the year, defeating them 3-1.
Head coach Laurie Corbelli was adamant that this was their biggest win thus far, stating "Absolutely our biggest win of the season. Missouri is ranked and their RPI is really up there. We have had chances at great big wins that we couldn't quite take advantage of. For us, this match helped us with our identity and to find it."
Do not let that score fool you - this match went down to the wire in every set. Missouri won the first set by a score of 25-22, but the Aggies responded, winning by scores of 25-22, 25-20, and 25-23.
Junior Ashlie Reasor said, "After that first set, you kind of just have to forget it, take what you learned from it, and move on. Once we lost that first set, there was nothing we could do about it. We just moved on and kept our heads up."
The story of the night was the aggressiveness shown by Aggie hitters. In total, there were four players who had double digit kills, lead by Kiara McGee with 16. Reasor added 11 kills, while Hollann Hans and Kaitlyn Blake added 11. Jazzmin Babers also added nine kills in the match. The Aggies outdid the Tigers with 62 kills, compared to 55.
While this win is without a doubt important, the Aggies are not looking to dwell on it.
Reasor added, "We have to take the next team and play like we played tonight. We were pretty consistent and we were really focused on this match. We are going to take it one match at a time for the nine remaining games, and keep our foot on the gas the whole time."
The Aggies, who moved to 13-7 overall and 7-2 in conference play, will hit the road to take on South Carolina on October 30th. South Carolina bolsters a record of 14-6 overall and 2-6 in SEC play.
