This was the biggest win of the season and honestly the one that was necessary because with the unbalanced schedules the strong teams are really only playing the strong teams once this season with a couple of exceptions. The right side was the reason we won this match IMO. Ashlie Reasor probably had one of her best matches of her career in terms of importance of the match. If she develops a line shot to add to her improvement this season she would easily be by improved player of the year. Victoria Arenas played her best match digging on the right side since coming to TAMU and Aiple was her usual AA setting self. McGee struggled for a bit and didnt get into her stride til the late third and fourth set. We had some solid digs from all over the court leading to in systems swings on digs that normally would be kills or out of system swings. Hans has a solid match making only a couple of hitting errors on the outside during the time McGee was struggling. Serve recieve was a bit off target as Missouri was able to serve short and also hard and deep putting us a bit off balance leading to higher passes and off the net. Solid effort and good win, shutting down their outside Kan. Win should put us in the mix with pivotable match with Kentucky in a couole of weeks and Alabama next week here at Reed to avenge the five set loss to open SEC play.
