Baseball notes with head coach Rob Childress

* Overall, the week was a successful one for head coach Rob Childress, winning three of four on the road against UT-Arlington and Kansas State. However, there is still disappointment for the team, losing to end the weekend and costing them a chance at a perfect weekend.

* When you score seven runs, it’s easy to credit the offense. Childress went with the relievers though, saying that the team doesn’t have a chance at a big inning without the solid performances of the ‘pen.
