Yea there is just no way they can deconflict that. We just don't have the technology

It would probably be very difficult for our government to come up with a way to filter out repeat tests of the same infected individual with sufficient reliability. If the tests are coming from the same source then that source could send only one result, but if an infected individual is tested at multiple locations that are independently sending in the results, with millions of tests being done per day, there is a high probability that both tests end up counted.

You have way too much faith in government.

If they are PCR tested at two places then yes both would go into the data; however, the OP took a home antigen test and then had it confirmed via PCR at his doctor or a pharmacy. So there is only one test going into the data base. This isn't hard for most but you don't seem to grasp it.

I'm hoping having been vaccinated and now probably having Omicron, that I will have super immunity and can put this behind me. Feel pretty good today, but still fatigued. Woke up this morning with the "knives in throat" symptom, but gone now. First 2 days were no joke though, sever fatigue, random sweating especially at night, high fever. Think I am on road to recovery. I never get sick and of course this has to happen on my week off work / vacation.
