I know it's been posted a bunch but I can't seem to find it. Wife has covid and is wanting to know what she should be taking (supplements, medication). Anyone have the list handy or I think there is a link.

She's doing ok so far (O2 levels good). Should she look into the antibody treatment or ivermectin?

Look into both the antibody treatment and ivermectin.

Hope you get well soon

Edit: on that link, the protocol is on page 2 of the imbedded pdf.

monoclonal antibodies and either ivermectin or hydroxycloroquin

vitamin d, zinc, vitamin c as well if she isn't already taking them daily.. Up her zinc intake if she is.

thanks. It's only day 2 and she didn't even think she had it. Was just a sore throat. Now seems to be hitting harder.

that's exactly when you want to get on ivermectin/HCQ.. earlier is better.

For mild symptoms; rest, fluid intake, and pain relievers are key. Cough suppressants can be helpful as well. Those are the recommended options.

Monitor for worsening respiratory and circulatory distress; and seek emergency care when observed.

So take things that lessen the symptoms until her symptoms get to a point that the symptom treaters aren't working anymore?

Yeah... no...

Monoclonal antibody infusion and call your doc for dexamethasone (steroid). Ivermectin if you want but the evidence is very mixed if it really helps unless you have a parasitic infection but the worst it can do is give you a tummy ache so no risk. HCQ is fine but no evidence it works and can trigger lethal arrhythmias if you have a long QT interval.

Best of luck! Keep it out of the lungs! I would also advise saline sinus flushes.

Also ask about a short course of fluvoxamine. In small studies helped and it's super cheap and safe

Yeah forgot about that, pretty exciting data.

How do you reconcile your comments on ivermectin with your comments on fluvoxamine?

If you think he should not take ivermectin because he doesn't have a parasite, you should also think he shouldn't take fluvoxamine because he doesn't have anxiety and depression.

This is what makes this board dangerous. Because two people with doctor badges come in and discourage a know, valuable early treatment drug. It's rather disgusting.

OP. Do your own research. Take everything that everyone says (even mine) with some skepticism.

And for the record: I am not against fluvoxamine- it think it has great benefits in early treatment and it's listed on the flccc protocol.

People are welcome to do their own research but doctors do this all day every day and have for years and much of it is difficult to dig through. I don't fix my own car, plumbing, or electric although I could do my own research and try to fix that as well. Instead I rely on people with extensive training and experience and pay them to help me out.

Fluvoxamine has some pretty exciting data supporting it. It would benefit from larger double blind placebo controlled studies for sure but the current smaller studies show significantly more benefit than the huge number of ivermectin studies that are bit meh.

I am not against Fluvoxamine. Nor do I think Ivermectin is a god drug. I think both can be valuable in the early treatment.
I think Fluvoxamine, despite being a pill for anxiety and depress, can be helpful in the early treatment of Covid.
Likewise, I think Ivermectin, despite being medicine for parasites, can be helpful in the early treatment of Covid (and is on the protocol I sent OP).

Your resistance to Ivermectin as a quality pre-symptom or early-treatment is amazing. You are truly doing your "verification" a disservice.

from your beloved NIH:

edit: messed up the links.

Great links appreciate you sharing them. I have no problem with Ivermectin and I've prescribed it for patients. I just tell the family the evidence is mixed and the risk is low so if they want to try it I'm happy to help. Not sure why you are reading into my tone that I'm somehow anti-ivermectin.

Edit: Plus if they happen to have some pinworms, scabies, etc it helps clear that out at the same time! Parasitic infections are far more common than most Americans want to believe.

Monoclonal antibodies, supplements (vit D, zinc, quercetin, melatonin, NAC, baby aspirin) and fluvoxamine would be my go to answer.

ok, we are loaded up with the OTC items both for treatment and preventative.

What should we expect as far as getting a script for ivermectin and/or fluvoxamine as well as the antibody treatment? Do we just straight up ask for it from the doc?
Woods Ag
How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
yeah, call your PCP. They shouldn't have an issue writing you a script for ivermectin. As said before it's very minimal, if any, side effects.

for the antibodies, I'm not sure they process but I'd start with my PCP. They'll know.

The key seems to be hitting it hard, and hitting it early. Ask your doctor for the drugs mentioned above, and if they won't prescribe it, there is a call-in service that will. I can't remember it off the top of my head but it is mentioned a lot in these threads so search around a little bit.

Just FYI, mine started off with a sore throat, and I ended up in the hospital for a week with double pneumonia. Take it seriously so you dont have to worry later whether or not it could have prevented. Chances are overwhelmingly in your favor that you won't get it like I did, but I wish I had pushed harder for early treatment.

All things equal I'm probably going to be biased towards giving more faith to the guys with a doctor badge than those that have two-digit % posting in the Politics forum on this particular subject. But that's just me.

Cool, so you'll listen to these doctors who use ivermectin for covid, among many other things.

I've suggested using it to family when they had covid and on record here saying at the start that the same would be true for HCQ if need be, but reality is the faith in either having a curative effect is very low. Push comes to shove I'm a believer in the "throw the kitchen sink at it and hope something sticks" approach...but will stop well short of allowing political leanings, podcast hosts or bull**** rabble rabble on the internet to be an influence.

The data show vaccines are the only thing demonstrably reliable, even if imperfectly, with the mRNA shots leading the pack. Hence my decision to go that route and be done with all the funny business.

My family had covid in July. I would describe Ivermectin as very effective. I went from preparing to take my spouse and son to the hospital to thinking we were all going to be fine within a few hours. It worked very quickly, but this was also on day 1. We didn't wait.

This is prescribed Ivermectin, which wasn't very easy to get a prescription for (our doctor wouldn't do it) or to get filled. CVS cut us off because of some possible future insurance audit, so we had to transfer to a mom and pop compounding pharmacy and pay cash.

We used the FLCCC.net protocol, but also added NAC, baby aspirin, and Curcumin. Using a pulse ox, we monitored our levels daily and none of us ended up needing to go to a doctor. If we had, we would have started with monoclonal antibodies. Hope your wife is doing better.

Awesome you got the help you needed and beat covid. Sad that you had to jump through so many hoops to get an effective, inexpensive, very safe therapeutic. It's unconscionable, really.

I took Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine and still ended up in the hospital with Covid pneumonia for a week. It didn't help me any but I don't discourage people from trying it. And I know plenty of people that have taken Ivermectin with mixed results.

Get a ZPac to reduce the bacterial infection that can arise with the viral infection.

It will help reduce the congestion in the throat and lungs.....keeps the chances of pneumonia down.

Can you show how many people have been harmed by the vax?

It's in the tens of thousands if you take the time to research it. Neither vax has FDA approvalthere is a reason for that.

Not to be rude, but I've got no confidence we'd be talking in good faith. Happy to be proven wrong, though.

Beyond that, and as I explained to a coworker last night who was extolling the recent Rogan interview and the (myriad) statements being purported as facts, none of it affects me anymore so I really couldn't care less.

I took Ivermectin and felt completely well after 36 hours of use. Mixed results, indeed.

Didn't really want this to turn into a political thing. Wish politics didn't come into play in every aspect of our lives but it is.

Wife felt a little better today but still not good. I understand it could come back and hit her hard in a couple days or so. Hopefully not. She decided against seeking additional treatments such as ivermectin. It's her choice and I respect that. We will continue to be vigilant and keep a careful eye on her O2 levels and keep pounding the OTC cocktail.

When is ivermectin too late to be considered?

Ivermectin should be taken as early as possible. 7 days after onset is generally too late. The way ivermectin works is that it stops covid from replicating. By day 7 or 8, covid has already replicated enough to be a possible problem.

Below is a 20 minute video from a retired doctor. You should watch.

I'm 27 and just got the Rona today for the first time. I went and got a monoclonal antibody treatment. Scratchy throat, fatigue, chills, and diarrhea. Gonna be a hell of a night according to the doc. But my symptoms have not gotten worse since they appeared late last night this morning.

Any tips would be helpful. Currently stocked on DayQuil, theraflu, Gatorade, and couch medicine
