1st Moderna in December..... only reaction was a very sore arm.
2nd Dose in January, pretty mild reaction, just a headache and "blah" feeling but went away in less than 24hrs.

Booster yesterday afternoon. Mild sore arm and a little "off" feeling this morning but pretty much back to normal.

Weird how differently it affects people.

Just got my booster. 12 hours in on the nose spiked a low grade and some low level myalgia. After grinding it out for 6 hours or so, popped some Tylenol, and at 24 hours, about 90% back to normal.

IMHO the Covid vaccine side effects are solidly JV when compared with the Shingles jabs. I was out for 2 days after the 2nd one of those bad boys.

Got my booster 2 days ago. Moderna for all 3 rounds with nearly 10 months between dose 2 and 3.
Side effects from booster, pretty good arm soreness at injection side (even a mild bruise), very low fever for a few hours around the 15 hr mark, and low level malaise most of the day after the shot, but nothing bad enough to cause me to take any medicine. In general i would say my booster reaction without meds was roughly the same as my round 2 with a few doses of tylenol. woke up this morning back to 100%

Got my booster at 12pm on Friday. Felt fine all afternoon. But it took me OUT on Saturday and most of Sunday. No fever, but sore throat and extreme fatigue. I felt weak like I hadn't eaten or slept for days, and it messed with my taste a little bit too. Mostly back to normal for the first time this morning.

Husband had no side effects whatsoever other than a sore arm.

Just had a dear friend die from the booster on Saturday. Otherwise healthy. 38 year old mother and wife. Got the booster two weeks ago today. It shut her body down and her ammonia levels reached extreme toxic levels. They put her in a medically induced coma last Wednesday. Friday she started seizing uncontrollably for hours on end. Brain scan on Saturday morning showed irreparable and extreme brain damage and her husband took her off life support Saturday at 2:00.

I don't know all of the details, but, according to her husband, her body responded to the shot with an immune response in a way that resulted in many of her organs not functioning properly. Her liver completely shut down and stopped being able to filter ammonia, before it ever got to the kidneys, and the ammonia in her body raised to extreme toxic levels very rapidly, causing a myriad of other issues. The coma was induced to slow her body down enough in hopes less ammonia would be produced. Looked like it was working then the seizures started and her lungs began filling with fluids. I just had a quick conversation with him, and once things settle down a bit I'm sure I'll learn more of the details.

That sucks. I had an uncle who was an alcoholic that suffered from high ammonia levels that was treatable. His ammonia, though, was because his liver was damaged from all of the drinking.

Prayers for her and her family.

I am so sorry to hear this. I was very young when my mom passed. I consider my dad the best of the best but the impact is still devastating.

Boosted Monday around lunch. Fever and chills started that evening around 10 p.m. Felt like crap pretty much all day yesterday if I didn't keep alternating Tylenol & ibuprofen. Last night was somewhat better, no chills. Headache this morning so I took 1 advil, now I'm dripping sweat. Looking forward to getting back to normal.

Sounds worse than most who have had covid.

I also had covid earlier this year. It was much worse and I'll suffer through this if it means a greater probability of not contracting it again.

Not sure you're chances of contracting it again are any lower.

You could have gotten your antibody levels tested, covid and vaccinated and I'm sure you didn't need a booster. Best of luck, hope you feel better!

Got booster (Moderna) Fri afternoon. Was a little lethargic and sore most of Saturday. Ran 10 miles this morning. All good.

Wife and I scheduled for Moderna booster on Tuesday. Seems most not all but most are having a lesser reaction than the original shots. Shot 1 was pretty rough for me. Shot 2 less so.

Got Moderna booster on Thursday afternoon. Arm sore that night. Arm better on Friday. A little fatigue on Friday, improving on Saturday. Sunday seems back to normal. No fever, aches, sniffles, etc.

Pfizer booster last week, was feverish with a bad headache after my second shot and took a day to sleep it off, this time just some slight chills the night after and felt a bit tired with a sore arm after waking up. Was back to 100 the next day.

I got my Moderna booster a week and a half ago. Just turned 31.

35, received my Moderna booster on Friday. Arm sore, minor swelling at arm pit, and redness below injection site. Hasn't stopped me from doing anything though. Even ran 16 miles on Sunday.

Glad I got the booster, because the family I was suppose to spend Christmas with all tested positive this weekend.
