Didn't have any reaction to first two. This one has got me pretty good about 28 hrs after shot. Sore arm, lymph node under the arm swelled and slightly painful, lethargic and general joint and muscle soreness. This on top of a headache and chills. Just throwing it out there for those that had no symptoms first few times, might not be so lucky on shot three (if you so choose). Sounds weird but I'm happy to have symptoms now, was worried my crappy immune system just didn't work. I have never felt good to be sick before, this is a first for sure.

How long ago did you have your 2nd dose? What was the reason for your 3rd dose?

I'm nearly 7 months out from my 2nd dose, so trying to figure out when/if I need a 3rd.

Got mine first week of January. Doctor in my town is giving Pfizer 6 months post (2nd dose) and same for moderna but 8 months. Reason was just that I would rather not get covid (mild or not) and will do what I can not too as I'm against masks and social distancing (F that life). I'm not scared of a damn vaccine but know many who have died from covid, I have kids, not taking a chance if I can help effectiveness (even a few percentage points at a time).

i'm 75 yr. old female w/compromised immune system; my 2nd moderna vaccine was in march; walked into walgreens and just signed a form that i was immune compromised, and got the booster sat. sore arm and had a few chills that night; now have a slight rash from injection site to elbow; a friend/hubby both got boosters at walgreens but neither is immune compromised. i had the virus last dec. before vaccines were manufactured and am also a long hauler w/lasting symptoms. this virus is no joking matter. ruined my sleep; dizzy from 2pm on but brainfog has improved; going on 8 mo. now as long hauler.

Got my second shot in January. Had a mild breakthrough case last month. I will be forgoing a booster since I'm swimming in antibodies at the moment.

Have you seen any evidence that the boosters work against delta? The novavax vaccine is supposed 90% effective against it but is not approved yet.

Had both Pfizer shots in March. I had no reactions. Did the Texas Cares and had 1064 Antibodies. Will get a booster in November but if you have numbers your body will fight the Rona

OP, you may want to read this article about how these vaccines are made and what nano particles they use (lipid nano's with PEGs) for delivery into the cells. It seems some people may be having reactions to the PEG as you are exposed to more dosages? per the article, your body can build up antibodies against the PEGs and the more dosages you get the more reactions within your body you could be having. (including affecting the brain) Im not a Dr or research scientist but this article should raise some concerns at a minimum? I am in the chemical field and know quite a bit about a lot of chemicals including PEGs, PPGs, etc. I handle some PEGs at work and I am potentially exposed to PEGs and thats why Im still very hesitant to take these experimental vaccines because I am probably in the small percentage group that already has antibodies towards PEGs.. PEGs are used in all kinds of chemical applications including many kinds of lubricants and food grade lubricants, drilling fluids, animal vaccine's, these applications are how people may be getting exposed to various types of PEGs, PEGs come in a lot of molecular weights and I am not sure what mol weight PEG is used in these vaccines? I would think a larger mol weight PEG would pass right through the body but Im not sure about nano lipids with PEGs? I believe the higher mol weight PEGs are what is used in some laxatives, but at that high of a mol weight PEG is probably acting like a mineral oil sometimes used as a laxatives'. it seems some PEG mol weights seem more dangerous than others My question about all of this is how long does it take for the body to remove PEGs from our system?

This could possibly be why your seeing some side affects after taking 3 doses?

Following. I'm hoping more people post their experiences. A booster seems like a tough sell as I'd expect it to hit people harder than the other two shots. My immunocompromised wife will probably be on board for a 3rd shot soon - she's 7 months out now.

I'm holding out until I have more compelling information or a reformulated booster.

I had a moderately severe case of Covid in May 2020.

Finally decided to get the shots, and went with Phizer (first shot in early August 2021, second shot this past Sunday).

Both were far worse than my first 36 hours with Covid. In fact, the second was probably the worst reaction ever.

The theory at one point was most were experiencing symptoms from the second shot. That was because the body had already started building immunity from the first and the flu like symptoms were the body's response to the second vaccine.

I had issues with the first and the assumption was I probably had Covid19 before being vaccinated and my body was responding accordingly.
