For those who had COVID a long time ago and got vaccinated. Did you have any side effects at all?

Someone I know lost all of his hair after the second shot. He lost it in huge clumps. Yes, I'm serious. 5-6 months later and it still hasn't grown back normally.
Quote:
A questionnaire and serum sample were collected 14 or more days following dose 2 for 954 HWs. Clinically significant symptoms were reported by 52 of the 954 (5%) after dose 1 and 407 (43%) after dose 2. After adjusting for prior SARS-CoV-2 infection, age, and sex, the odds of clinically significant symptoms following either dose were higher among participants who received the Moderna vs the Pfizer vaccine (dose 1: odds ratio [OR], 1.83; 95% CI, 0.96-3.50; dose 2: OR, 2.43; 95% CI, 1.73-3.40) (Table). Prior SARS-CoV-2 exposure was associated with increased odds of clinically significant symptoms following dose 1 (OR, 4.38; 95% CI, 2.25-8.55) but not dose 2 (OR, 0.60; 95% CI, 0.36-0.99), after controlling for vaccine type, age, and sex.
Regardless of symptoms, the vast majority of participants (953 of 954, greater than 99.9%) developed spike IgG antibodies 14 or more days following dose 2; 1 participant who was taking immunosuppressant medication did not develop IgG antibodies (Figure). Reporting clinically significant symptoms, age younger than 60 years, female sex, receipt of Moderna vaccine, and prior SARS-CoV-2 exposure were independently associated with higher median IgG measurements, after adjusting for time after dose 2.
I lost a lot of hair after I got covid last year, but it eventually grew back. Same happened to my cousin. This is a common side effect for covid, but didnt realize it was a side effect of the vaccine.Seersucker Ag 2011 said:

typically takes 12-24 hours to see the full responseKendall Rogers said:
Just got the punch. No swelling or tenderness at all in the arm so far.

If you already had covid, I don't know that the 2nd shot will produce any benefit for you. Read up on it. Some study's posted here on these boards.ToddyHill said:
I was confirmed positive on May 4, 2020. I had a very tough go of it, first 3 days felt like crap, then 3 days where I was OK, then 4 tough days, then 4 days where I was OK. Thankfully, my oxygen uptake was never an issue, but I had all the other Covid issues. It took a long time to get my stamina back.
I got the first Pfizer shot ten days ago. Within 12 hours, I felt worse than when I had Covid....uncontrollable shakes, fever, sweating, body aches, the whole 9 yards. I called out of work the first day, and should have called out the second day. From what I've gleaned online, my experience was not unusual.
Hopefully my second shot won't be as bad.
I'm looking to be on this path / thought process as well, just wish we had more data on if natural immunity is good enough....Kendall Rogers said:
I went with Pfizer. Most of the reviews I've seen on Moderna suggests a more prolonged immune response, and typically stronger. I don't need that. I've had COVID before and I'm just doing this for folks around me, and I've been told by multiple people who had COVID and got Pfizer that it was a breeze.
Guess we will find out
