Just a heads up -- very minimal symptoms. Had one little sweat fest this morning with no fever, and back is pretty sore. But that also could be from a pretty intense set of workouts the first three days this week.

No biggie, really.
How's it going?

Easiest thing I've probably done medically.

Slight headache and slight fatigue all yesterday -- but otherwise, felt like a mild hangover.

No issues here. Did a long workout this morning.

Got the 2 Pfizer shots in April/May after having COVID in January. Just a very slight malaise with the second shot.

Was your first shot worse? If so I can't imagine I'd even have anything for the second shot.

I had Covid at Christmas and got my Pfizer shots in March/April. I worked out the morning after my first shot and thought I was fine. Later that morning (about 18 hours after the first shot) I had a bunch of Covid symptomslow-grade fever, chills, achy, and extremely tired. They passed within 10 hours and I was fine the next day. I had some very mild symptoms after the second shot just a headache and a little tired.

I got out of the hospital earlier this week after a bad bout with the Covid. My doctor said I should wait at least 6 months before considering getting the vaccine. He would like some antibody testing after the six months and we can make a decision.

I don't remember feeling anything after the first.

Had a severe case of COVID in the spring, hospitalized for a week.

Haven't gotten vaccine yet due to doctor's instructions.

So far: Wife, child, and me got it at the same time, I was the only one with severe symptoms.

Mother and father got it more recently, mother had severe cold-like symptoms but was able to go about her day. She had antibodies, so had not had vaccine Father was vaccinated and had little to no symptoms.

Brother is vaccinated and hasn't had it.

Got the Moderna shot last Friday and still have congestion and cough. Short of breath but not extreme. Guess I had the covid in the last little while is why my side effects are so bad. If I would have known I wouldn't have got the shot. Really considering not getting the second one!

A doctor replied on your thread that those aren't typical Covid vaccine reactions.
It's likely that you have another illness right now, like a cold or RSV.
If you're concerned, you should sign up for one of the antibody studies to see if you have natural antibodies already.

I did a finger ***** test yesterday and tested negative for both. It was an ECOTEST at Kroger Pharmacy. Wife tested positive (she ended up with COVID pneumonia -- slight case - -but still, covid kicked her ass a little more). My case was extremely mild, so i'm guessing my immune response wasn't as strong, as noted by the lack of antibodies.

Of course, I will still have robust T-Immunity that would probably save my ass if I kept going unvaccinated, but I'm not going to take that chance when I'm going to Kyle every weekend this fall. I'm 38, 6-2, 220, work out a lot. Good metrics, but not going to chance it w/ Delta.

Kinda funny seeing Kendall get busted by the language filter.

If the first shot wipes you out pretty good, there's a decent chance you've had Covid. Because the Moderna shot is stronger, you may opt for Pfizer if you know you had Covid. Or, you might want Moderna, cause missing work isn't actually that terrible.
94chem,
That, sir, was the greatest post in the history of TexAgs. I salute you. -- Dough

Second shot today. Will report back if any symptoms.

I had COVID back in Jan as I said, so anecdotal evidence would suggest this will be a non-event compared to the first (which was a breeze).

Sounds. good. I get my second pfizer on the 20th. First shot was a large shoulder bump bigger than bruise that went away after 3 days. No other symptoms. I honestly felt like I could breather better after I got the first shot.

My wife def had some mild reaction to it on her arm with both shots -- puffed up a little and got blue like a bruise. not sure if her muscle was just sensitive or what. Mine was a non event. Minor discomfort, zero symptoms unlike the last one with a mild headache.
