My wife's friend and her husband tested positive. She's pregnant and just a few weeks away from delivering. They both have mild symptoms at the moment.
Update - she's home now with O2.lunchbox said:

First hand knowledge :Fireman said:
I'm starting to get skeptical. The number of videos available showing empty hospital rooms in major cities and the fact that I keep asking everyone I know, who knows someone that has this virus and I can't find anyone.
So, I thought I'd take a quick poll. Ignoring celebrity news reports do you have first hand knowledge (not heard it from a friend of a friend or read it on social media) of someone who tested positive for the coronavirus (not I had a soar throat, cough and trouble breathing, but someone with a positive test for coronavirus) and what was their outcome? If you know multiple - list how many.
1) I don't know anyone personally that has the coronavirus.
2) I know someone who tested positive for coronavirus, but only had mild symptoms.
3) I know someone who tested positive and went to the ER, discharged the same day and is doing better now.
4) I know someone who tested postive for coronavirus, was in the hospital for multple days, but survived or is expected to survive.
5) I know someone who tested positive for coronavirus, had to be put on a ventilator, but has survived.
6) I know someone who tested positive for coronavirus and is currently on a ventilator and we don't know the outcome.
7) I know someone who tested positive for coronavirus, had to be put on a ventilator and died.
8) I know someone who tested positive for coronavirus and was never put on a ventilator that died.

There is also an alarming number of people that don't think this man should be counted as a COVID19 victim because of his preexisting conditions. It's extremely odd. This isn't an attempt to derail, your details about his quality of life, improvements, and then imminent demise because of COVID19 just really touch on that conspiracy going around. Sorry about your friend and her husband.3rd Generation Ag said:
My high school friend is getting better, but they are waiting for her husband to die. He is in the hospital and doctor says simply no treatments available there that would help. He has had a DNR for a number of years. Tested positive but too weak from a stroke to be able to fight this off. Yes he had a preexisting condition, but one that was still giving him a high quality of life with his family and one that had not killed him. In fact he was getting stronger with physical therapy. Just because someone is 70, that does not mean their life does not matter, contrary to what the youngsters here seem to think.
