Dr. Coates - first I hope you're getting over this and feeling better.

I tried to call the office but thought I'd reach out on here. My mom (around 60 years old) is having a rough go. She no longer has a PCP (hers retired) and was wondering if you're doing teledoc visits. Btw, we live about a mile up Murphy Rd from the practice.
I don't know if Dr Coates is back yet but my step brother got a televisit from another Dr in his office. Try leaving a message they are usually pretty prompt in getting back with you.

Glad your feeling better

I agree with you comment on getting the vaccine anyway. Never hurts to get a booster.

You have probably already considered this, but I would suggest waiting a month or three. Boosters work better after some time has passed. Plus availability is limited right now.

Hey doc. Glad you are doing well.

Before you get the vaccine please give convalescent plasma a couple times.

I'm happy to help you set up an appointment.

Doc....I'm curious. Now that you've had it, do you think the protocol you've been recommended materially worked in your case? Anything you wish you would have changed or done differently?

Also - are you still taking all the supplements?

Just wanted to post a personal experience while thanking Doc Rev for the supplement regimen. My wife and I both caught Covid at the same time in December. I started taking all the supplements (the whole list - using Quercetin instead of Green Tea) and she only took Zinc, D and C. She doesn't like pills in general and was hesitant about taking that many pills at once. I had a mild case and hers got pretty bad. She took a turn for the better two days after she finally agreed to start taking all the supplements. Both much better and recovered now (for the most part). Could be coincidence or not, but I thought it was worth sharing.

Any suggestions for someone who is 7 days or so into symptoms? I understand most of this regimens have an effect if started at the beginning, but curious if there's anything that can help mid-course?

I have an uncle (mid 50's) that battling it right now. Hairy cell leukemia survivor and no gallbladder.

TIA

I had fever for 12 days and within 48 hours of taking the ivermectin/zpac/steroids things were much better! Fever gone and symptoms must improved!! Just my experience.

Talked to a friend last night who was in the hospital 2 weeks. Got out December 28. He was still having trouble breathing so began taking Ivermectin on Sunday. We talked for over an hour on the phone and he said that before taking Ivermectin he would not have been able to talk for more than 3 minutes. His pulmonologist would not prescribe it but he found another doctor who did prescribe it for him.

I tested positive 1/8/21. I'm 43 6 foot 170 pounds and healthy. Only health issue I have is a bad thyroid since my early 30's.

I have bad migraines, bad muscle and joint pain, fever, chills, low oxygen levels ranging 86-89, irregular heart rate, congestion and chest pain.

My primary care doctor has me taking Quercetin, High dose Vitamin D3, Zinc, Vitamin C, NaC, Dexamethasone, azithromycin, Crestor, cetirizine hydrochloride, Pulmicort via a nebulizer, tramadol and Motrin.

I have not improved at all. I went to the ER day before yesterday on my primary care doctors orders but all they did was give me a IV, some oxygen, took some more test and X-ray on my chest. They said I needed to be admitted but there not any beds to admit me. They also said I needed Bamlanivimab or the Regeneron Cocktail but they are out.

I'm in Burnet Country and that was the Baylor Scott & White hospital. I'm hoping I don't have to go to a Austin or Round Rock to get the treatment and care I need.

Not a doctor, but you might consider heading to Austin or Round Rock if they have room. Don't let this go too far.

Wishing you health

Given your oxygen level, I would try to get somewhere where you could be medically monitored. I'm sorry you are getting the worst of it. Praying for you.

While the sooner you start the better it's never too late to start taking the supplements!

While I don't believe it is the silver bullet I have seen very good response with ivermectin!

If your sats are below 90% you need oxygen at the minimum. I would suggest driving to somewhere where you can get admitted!

Thanks for thinking of me! I am doing well and feel great! Just really busy having close to 20 Covid positive patients per day plus my regular patients! I am doing my best to get them all in.

For those that asked about what to take post Covid I will try to write on that soon.

Thanks and Gig'em!

My husband and I got the Moderna shot Monday. Should we keep taking the supplements? I know the shot will not be effective for a couple of weeks, but I wondered if the supplements-zinc, etc might interfere with the vaccine somehow.

Good to see ya again Rev! A couple of post up is Burnet Aggie. He has become a good friend of mine thru Aggie football. Do you think he should try Ivermectin?

Burnet...I did a televisit with Rev and he is awesome. His staff was amazing.

Prayers for you BurnetAggie and for you Rev.
