I took 45 from the Woodlands to Dallas and then back yesterday. Had no issues. If I recall correctly drivetexas.org is showing the frontage roads as closed. Not the main lanes.
Yes thats what Im noticing as well. Lots of road closed marks, but if you drill down its the frontage roads, or even more often, exits that are closed.TxAg82 said:

FYI- Yesterday I left Stafford to go to Hallettsville. I took 59 to Spur 10 to 36 to I-10 in Sealy. At that time, the scariest part was water on 36 in Willis and Sealy ramp to 10 had just opened. My wife took the same route this morning and there was NO water near 36 in Willis and everything around Sealy was clear.....despite water rising.
Seems to be a good route if anyone is trying to leave SW Houston. Obviously things could change quickly.

My parents house has been without power in Indian beach since Saturday. We are planning to go down there today and clean out the fridges.
We got power back in indian beach this afternoon.Premium said:nimrodag99 said:What is the power situation like on the west end?Premium said:

We had power the whole time. Flickered on and off a few times. But we were in Pointe West so can't speak for everywhere.
