Has anyone driven from Huntsville(ish) to Pearland(ish)? If you did, how did you go?

1486 to 362 in Magnolia is open down to 359 in Fulshear, that's all I know.

Was able to get from the Heights to 610 North Loop to 290 outbound to Austin. Only couple of rough spots. Brazos looks close to reaching the bridge, though.

Someone posted about a google crisis map. It had all the route info and even traffic. Lots of other helpful things.

Hard to get from Fulshear further south, as 99 over the Brazos is closed and will be closed for a LONG TIME.

Drive Texas shows 45 over San Jacinto river flooded. I've heard second or third hand that it's not. Can anyone confirm? I need to get from Dallas to The Woodlands

A friend just drove as far south as 336 on 45 from Huntsville.

Any tips on getting from:

Galveston to The Woodlands

And

The Woodlands to Port Aransas

What is the status of 99 between 290 and 10, and Katy feeeway? Was in Conroe for a wedding Friday night, and been stuck up here (w/MIL) since. Wanting to get home near Dairy Ashford & Memorial. Know the house is dry as of yesterday, but without power, and very curious where the addicks outflow is heading.

Last I checked 99 between 10 and 290 was closed. If you want to get down there, you're going to probably have to go through high water on East Bound 290 to the beltway to 10. That section where high water was, was down to one lane. When I headed out from behind the Barker Reservoir (before their updated tables) today, we went east bound I-10 to beltway 8 to west bound 290 to get to College Station.

Whatever direction you go, go during the day. Even then, you're likely to have light to no traffic.

Google maps showed 99 closed north of 10, but I was able to get on it yesterday at a Morton to go south, and there were cars coming from the direction of 290. My guess is it's either open all the way now or will be soon

Where in The Woodlands do you need to go? You can get to Woodlands Pkwy on 45 but can't go much farther south on 45 than that (at least not as of last night). But I have a friend who made it from Dallas to his house near Kuykendahl/2920 last night.

Does anyone know if 36 from Rosenberg to I-10 is still open. I got through yesterday morning, but looking at the drivetexas.org map, it looks like it might be getting close to closing.

I know 2 now that have done 610 to 290 and into cstat.

They said little to no trouble doing it.

What route is available to get from Dallas to Montrose? Is 45 open the whole way yet? Thanks.

They just closed 723 over the Brazos last night so I assume going NW on 36 won't be open for long.

Only one question: From 610N, is the exit for 290W a right or left exit (so I can be in correct lane)

If you are heading 610N (not coming off of I-10), the 290W exit is on the right side.

How about driving in from Columbus to Katy?

Thx. Hard to change lanes in heavy traffic driving a bus pulling a Jeep.
I'll take A90 to 610, 610W and then N and just stay in the slow right lanes other than avoiding Exit Only lanes for 59 and 10

Trying to get in from San Antonio to Montrose area. Waze and DriveTexas indicate that I-10 the whole way should be clear. Anyone know if this is true?

Just drove from Huntsville to Pearland. Took 45-Hardy-610-288. No problems. Safe travels, everyone!

If you can get inside the beltway, the Katy freeway is clear all the way to 59 both directions. Just watch out for debris on the road. Can't speak for roads further out.

Any reports on 45 south from Galveston to The Woodlands?

Coming in from Austin to the Heights - is 290 clear all the way yet? Hearing mixed reports.
