I took 45 from the Woodlands to Dallas and then back yesterday. Had no issues. If I recall correctly drivetexas.org is showing the frontage roads as closed. Not the main lanes.

Yes thats what Im noticing as well. Lots of road closed marks, but if you drill down its the frontage roads, or even more often, exits that are closed.

abc is saying 45, 10, and 290 mainlanes driveable in and out of town.

On the Drivetexas.org site, I get that dark blue is impassable, but does anyone know what the light blue means exactly?

Light blue means flooding on all or part of the roadway, but it may still be passable. Click on the light blue sections for more detailed information.

If you use all 3 websites, you come out OK with a passable route, usually.

I have navigated 3 or 4 groups out of Houston using these sites in the last 48 hours.

SO.......59 from Victoria to BW8 is expected to be open tomorrow? No word about any expected river crests to mess that up?

Looks good on the sites today, just curious if there are any known changes coming

FYI- Yesterday I left Stafford to go to Hallettsville. I took 59 to Spur 10 to 36 to I-10 in Sealy. At that time, the scariest part was water on 36 in Willis and Sealy ramp to 10 had just opened. My wife took the same route this morning and there was NO water near 36 in Willis and everything around Sealy was clear.....despite water rising.

Seems to be a good route if anyone is trying to leave SW Houston. Obviously things could change quickly.

My parents house has been without power in Indian beach since Saturday. We are planning to go down there today and clean out the fridges.

We got power back in indian beach this afternoon.

Anyone know how 288 is all the way down? Looking to go from Lake Jackson to San Antonio. Trying to decide between 288 to 610 to I10W or finding a path west through Rosenberrg or Eagle Lake.

Well, I made it. Whoop tee doo.

Around El Campo they took everybody off 59. We got routed up 71 to 90A. Then Spur 10 to 59 in Rosenberg. Approx an hour detour but we got here.

Are there any major highways / areas that are not accessible?
