Just got word they are picking people up in boats on Memorial in the Benignus/Gessner area. Memorial drive is flooded.
A lot of people at Total Wine on Memorial waiting on boat rescue drop offs. Taking people to the Presbyterian church shelter.
Paul Revere Middle and Westside High are functioning as shelters now as well.

Is anyone near the Kimberley/Memorial intersection, just east of Eldridge? I am trying to find out if that is underwater. My friends live on the corner but one left with the kids to go north and her husband is a pilot who can't get home.

Eldridge is flooding at westheimer. Not sure where it's coming from but there is 6"-12" of water on eldridge north of westheimer

I just drove east down Westheimer from synot to woodland park. Lite Water around dairy Ashford / kirkwood.
If so, there is a chance that those of us between Enclave and Westheimer on Eldridge could be trapped.
I drove Whittington to Gentryside and was dry the entire way from westheimer. I'm not sure where the water is coming from but the area from Floba to Westheimer is getting impassable quick.
We are in Memorial Townhomes. Between kirkwood and DA
They just doubled up the controlled release from the dams to 16,000 cfs, said it is causing a rise of 7/10 of a foot In buffalo bayou at dairy Ashford. May rise a bit more.
Would that be going to the westheimer side you think?
