Waters are rising dramatically everywhere. Please post pics and locations.
same here. It hasn't receded but hasn't risen really all day. Where in Firethorne are you? I'm close to 1463, just south of South Firethorne off Stonestead then FirecrestUncleNateFitch said:
Firethorne is still ok, but the retention lake and drainage channels are full. I've had 1.5 feet of water in my street since last night. Photos to follow
Wow I am really close, off Stonestead near Golden Larch. I don't think any houses in Firethorne have flooded et. Yesterday the water was 2/3 up the driveway, now 1/3 up. I am cautiously optimistic that yesterday was the peak.AGeng25 said:same here. It hasn't receded but hasn't risen really all day. Where in Firethorne are you? Maybe it's my brain looking for optimism, but it appears that after 12 hours of heave rain, it's finally slowed down. As long as the ditch behind our house moves, we will be OK here at Shadow Point.

Can they go west down highland knolls to 99?Pabby said:
Anyone been able to get out of Katy completely?
In-laws already evacuated their house that backed up to george bush park, but are now in an area that may be affected if barker reservoir comes up as high as they are forecasting.
They are currently at Fry in between Kingsland and Highland Knolls.
I10 east to 610 north to 290 west. Actually I think i10 east to bw8 north to 290 west would work tooPabby said:
Appears so, but then to where? It looks like 99 is closed @ Clay road currently, and I-10 west is a no-go. Think they are trying to get to 290.
What are they forecasting and where can I find that information?Pabby said:

mm, looking to do the same. Have a lower profile car, but waiting on a ride from a bigger SUV to try to get out of the area. I'm at Spring Green and Cinco Ranch, seems like the roads might be passable to get to where I can help. Let me know if you know of somewhere that needs help right now.
