I'm in Southdown near the Westside park. (Pearland) Street flooding has steadily increased throughout the day. Thank God the houses in this part of the neighborhood are well above the street.

We're in League City near Kemah. Heavy rain for a while, but it's not covering the street or anything at this point. Overnight Saturday it got halfway up the yard before it started going down when the rain lightened up.

Same thing with my daughter in Dickinson. Thanks for the earlier reply. Any idea how to get out of Dickinson if they choose to? Sounds crazy, but is Galveston even an option to consider? I don't know where else they could get to.

HEB is a great company. Wish we had them in Dallas area. I believe that convoy rolled into Victoria yesterday to help them out.

I grew up in Southdown and I recall the streets closest to the ditch (in between Southdown and the old folk's side of Country Place) would flood, but the houses always remained dry.

Granted this was back in the mid-90's, but driving through there (Country Place Pkwy/Smith Ranch Rd) yesterday, the water seemed highest by the hotel/strip center.

I'm hoping it stays that way and doesn't migrate into the neighborhood.

Anyone near Barker Cypress and W. Little York? If evacuation would be needed where could one go?

I'm located at 610/290, does anyone know of an area where boat rescues are needed that would be accessible for me to tow my boat from here?

Damn. I have a friend who lives in an apartment complex off of Braeswood. Was evacuated yesterday because she took on a lot of water in her apartment. Got back today to try and salvage things. Ransacked by looters. BUT instead of stealing anything, they just threw everything up high back into the water and stole $2. Despicable. Absolutely despicable.

San Jacinto River to Lake Houston then ultimately to Galveston Bay.

Any idea what path that takes? Does it go downtown? I hope it doesn't go to White Oak Bayou.

That is the path it takes. It doesn't affect the downtown bayous.

Good luck taking Mason north to 99. Just outside of waterside estates south of 99 the water is waist deep. I just walked through there from waterside to the Kroger across 99.

How are the Friendswood folks doing?

We're close to the Methodist church and it seems like there's no way in or out of the city except through Alvin.

Dickinson is under a MANDATORY EVACUATION for all citizens within the city. We are advising anyone who stays, there may be NO resources available for search and rescues as more flooding is expected from Hurricane Harvey. There is no specified route since most of Dickinson is still underwater. Rescue teams are still out and buses are arriving to City Hall in Dickinson to bus people to shelters.
