We're in League City near Kemah. Heavy rain for a while, but it's not covering the street or anything at this point. Overnight Saturday it got halfway up the yard before it started going down when the rain lightened up.
Same thing with my daughter in Dickinson. Thanks for the earlier reply. Any idea how to get out of Dickinson if they choose to? Sounds crazy, but is Galveston even an option to consider? I don't know where else they could get to.

We're in Ashford west and i feel pretty good. I walked up to the bayou and we've still got a little breathing room. Wife and newborn and we are staying. How far south of bayou are you?
We're in country village an staying put as well
I grew up in Southdown and I recall the streets closest to the ditch (in between Southdown and the old folk's side of Country Place) would flood, but the houses always remained dry.Big Cat `93 said:
I'm in Southdown near the Westside park. (Pearland) Street flooding has steadily increased throughout the day. Thank God the houses in this part of the neighborhood are well above the street.

San Jacinto River to Lake Houston then ultimately to Galveston Bay.
We used to live over there, I heard it flooded in Southdown on Saturday, guess that's not true?Big Cat `93 said:

So is that Lake Conroe dam opening going to be hell for Lake Houston? A friends parents are there currently, said water is rising rapidly.
So far so good in Coppercreek, but apparently Horsepen has gotten pretty high. I have one street between us and the bayou.Ragoo said:

How are the Friendswood folks doing?
We're close to the Methodist church and it seems like there's no way in or out of the city except through Alvin.
