Yeh, being up 6-0 in the 2nd inning has a way of keeping some off of this board.

How about answering my question? You are making an assertion, make a case for it. Show how effective Prager has been on short rest.billydean05 said:We will not be using Rudis or Lyons tomorrow unless things are really, really bad. They are not one of our top 3 relievers that we typically turn to later in ballgames.jkag89 said:Since you have this opinion, have you even looked into how effectively Prager has bounced back on short rest and if a less extended outing made a difference or not?billydean05 said:
Prager only got seven more outs. I think are odds are much better to win that game with Rudis or Lyons getting extended work then the SEC championship game Sunday. We have to win them all not just the first one.
Edit: Those 7 outs probably means one more arm out of the bully today or at very least limiting who we can use tomorrow.

Super easy, for me anyway
But seriously it was easy peezy. He was more embarrassed by the whole deal than anything, after the pain of the initial episode anyway.

While agree neither Rudis or Lyons will likely be used tomorrow neither was taxed today so the option is there if needed (for match ups for example) in a close game.
Edit: Rudis has been used in high leverage situations in his career at A&M, even this season if I'm recalling correctly.
Most recent example being today. He was pretty effective. Especially for the first 50 or so pitches. I have much more confidence on Prager short rest then I do having to rely on Rudis or Lyons to eat up several innings later in the tournament.
Too bad they come back.missinAggieland said:trouble said:

My godson had that testicular issue a few years ago. He had to have two surgeries. Bless his heart really painful. He seems to be doing better now at 18, I believe he had the surgeries around 14 & 15.histag10 said:
He probably would have, had he been in school all day. We finally got discharged around 12:30/1am. So we stayed in Houston last night. Then we woke up with a flat, and Scott had to fly his drone over a roof, then we high tailed it back to Normangee for his awards ceremony (still wearing both hospital bracelets of course). Then he came home with us.
I'm half expecting calls tomorrow afternoon from parents wondering why their kid is talking about my son's balls lol
We can only hope the Ags are up big early for the rest of the SEC Tournament.annie88 said:Too bad they come back.missinAggieland said:trouble said:

And us casuals can't be bothered for an A.M. game.LB12Diamond said:

There was no shot I would have been able to stay awake all game last night.
I'm not supposed to fall asleep at work, so that was less likely.
