Earley played that as well as he could have. If he pulled Prager, we would all be pissed. Leaving him in for one more batter was the logical decision, but it didn't work out.

No it wasn't. You either walk out there and pull him or don't walk out there at all. Terrible, weak, not assertive and the result was predictable with 90+ pitches to that dude.
